Jawlaha is a Syrian delivery and services platform. Inside Syria it does food delivery from local restaurants, errands and personal shopping through Jawlaha Box, and home cleaning by the hour through Jawlaha Clean — all cash on delivery. From outside Syria, Jawlaha Gifts lets you send groceries and gifts to people at home, prepaid by money transfer.

Food delivery, Jawlaha Box and Jawlaha Clean are live in Latakia and Homs, with Damascus coming soon. Jawlaha Gifts is different: it already delivers to Damascus and to recipients across Syria, with the recipient’s city confirmed order by order.

Through Jawlaha Gifts. In the app you choose the items and the shops inside Syria, plus the recipient’s name, address and phone number. Our team sends you one all-inclusive quote in Syrian pounds, you pay by money transfer, and a Jawlaha driver buys everything and delivers it to their door.

Because card rails do not reliably reach Syria. Money transfer through an exchange office or Western Union is the route that actually gets funds into the country and into the hands of the team who will do the buying. It is the same reason everything inside Syria is cash on delivery: we use the payment method that works rather than the one that looks modern.

Groceries and food baskets — rice, oil, sugar, bread, vegetables, meat and everyday staples — as well as flowers, cakes and sweets, chocolate, clothing, perfume, electronics, toys, or anything else available locally. You can also sponsor a basket or a gift for a family in need, and send for occasions like Eid, Ramadan, weddings, engagements, a newborn, a birthday or a graduation.

Yes. Jawlaha Clean has a prepay option for exactly this: book the cleaning for their address, choose to pay in advance by money transfer, and send us the transfer number and a photo of the receipt. Nothing is owed by anyone at the door once the work is done.

Cash on delivery — it is the only payment method for restaurant orders and Jawlaha Box. There are no cards and no online payment. Each order is from a single restaurant, and there is a maximum order value of 1,000,000 SYP.

Jawlaha Box is an errand and personal-shopping service inside your city. A Jawlaha driver buys what you need from anywhere that is not a restaurant already on Jawlaha — a pharmacy, a grocery, a bakery, a butcher, a hardware shop — or runs an errand such as collecting documents or dropping something off. You set a maximum budget and pay the actual purchase amount plus a service fee, in cash.

Not yet. The Jawlaha app is live on the App Store, and Google Play is coming soon. Jawlaha Gifts, Jawlaha Box and Jawlaha Clean all run through the app.
